Lyricist, composer and singer Johnny Mercer was born in Savannah, Georgia in 1909. Johnny owned the house but never lived in it.

This is the house in the book and movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" The murder took place in the lower left window.

Savannah City Hall with an 18 carat dome, that was said to come from the north part of Georgia.

Columia Square (we were waiting for the next trolley)

The story of these stairs was very interesting. The men would go up on one side and the woman would go up the other side, because the woman had to lift their dress and that would cause their ankles to show. Back then that was a no, no.

Olgethorpe Monument

Oglethorpe Square

This is the spot where they created a bus stop for the movie Forrest Gump.

The bench is in one of the museums in Savannah.
